Beautiful place. I'm thankful for no kill shelters. And they are rigorous if you even want to volunteer which is awesome. I really can't complain because their reasoning is sound but they have the doggos closed off with only a few to look at. Makes total sense, but it's sad when the dog can't choose YOU. I was expecting that same experience I had with my boy Brody from the north shore rescue. If ppl could just see these poor dogs in their cages you can't help but bring one home. But I get it.
