I found VEG Vet when our dog had been limp for a few days and sudden woke up on Sunday morning and could barely walk. We were immediately greeted at the door and triaged. After triage we wait forever. No one would even make eye contact. I eventually asked after sitting 3 hours without a word. There were several people there before us that left because they had been sitting there way too long. I totally understand there were a few pets that came in that needed to be seen right away. I have no problem wait for awhile. I finally asked the desk when we would be seen and we were told we were within the next 2 but was told there was only one vet on duty until 2 pm. On a Sunday you would think they would be fully staffed with all the vets being closed. I saw staff eating and sitting in the triage area laugh with no urgency know there was a waiting room full of sick pet. At one point there were visit rooms open with no pets in them. No one ever came to us for updates or to checked on our pets. They did not make eye contact or acknowledge you unless you went to them. I am sorry there should be an emergency team waiting for extreme emergency’s and teams to process urgent pets. They should be getting their bloodwork and X-rays if needed for when the vet is ready to see you. Needless to say we left after 4 hours without being seen.

We had a much better experience here compared to another emergency vet we visited a couple years ago. This time, we came in around 10pm and were immediately seen by a technician. I explained that my dog was having an allergic reaction to her vaccines with swelling around her eyes and muzzle. They quickly checked her vitals and gave her an allergy injection. It was a very busy Saturday night, and we didn’t finish seeing the Dr until around 2:30am, so the wait was long. But we were very grateful they didn’t turn us away and that our dog was taken care of. Everyone was very kind and hardworking!! Thank you :)

I am established with an exotic animal vet, but needed care for my guinea pig STAT. The receptionist walked me through the process on the phone and sent me a link to make pre-registering a breeze. The staff were amazing start to finish. They triaged us immediately to get eyes on the situation and really listened. The then came up with a plan of care and gave me the option to choose which services I felt were necessary and explained each step in the care recommendations. I paid only $40 more than my established vet would have charged and I didn’t have to wait the entire weekend wondering if the situation woth my pet would get worse before being able to see our regular vet. The open concept and being able to stay with my pet gave me additional piece of mind. I also got to watch the staff care for the other pets that were there to seek treatment. The staff impressed me with their wealth of knowledge and I learned so much from them. I will be recommending them to everyone I know. Best urgent vet clinic I’ve ever used.

What an amazing experience! I would highly recommend VEG ER. Emergency vets are stressful to begin with. I called and that initial contact with them made my decision to go there over the others in the area. From the time I walked in till I walked out (5 hours) it was a fantastic experience. Being able to stay with your pet is a huge plus. The staff and doctors were amazing. So caring and professional. I was there during a shift change and the next team was also amazing. They truly made a difficult situation much easier. I'm grateful for the care we received. I appreciate every single one who helped Mama's. She also is very grateful 🙏.
