The staff is great, but I don't know how Dr Dorn has a license. The three medical issues my pet had, were breezed off as not a problem until it became one and I had to take my pet to the emergency vet. The third time I learned my lesson... Dr Dorn did his usual - barely look at the area of problem and then prescribe some over the counter solution, followed by "I'll see you in 3 weeks". Luckily after years of going here I knew better, so I followed up with a second opinion from an actual professional THE SAME DAY. And as I suspected ,even though I am not a medical professional, my pet needed immediate emergency care. Not taking chances ever again here. Even if you mention Dr Dorns name to other veterinarians, they roll their eyes and laugh, just to give you an idea...

We took our bearded dragon rescue for a visit. The staff was so kind and help and they did not charge a ton for just a visit like some other places. The doctor listed to our questions and provided answers. Overall, I'd recommend. Especially if you have an exotic pet - its hard to find places that actually see bearded dragons.

West Liberty animal hospital is the best vet practice I have found in the south hills. Dr. Dorn has lots of experience and is incredible knowledgeable. I would never wish a sick pet on anyone, but if you do ever find yourself in that situation, I would highly recommend WLAH. The vet techs and kind and patient. Dr. Dorn will offer realistic and medically sound pet care advice. The practice is very affordable. They don’t charge you and arm and a leg. Dr. Dorn is good about recommending certain tests but mindful of your money. He doesn’t do unnecessary things to ring up your bill. They offer cash discount which also helps with the bills.

Dr. Dorn and the staff did a wonderful job of getting us in for an emergency appointment for our parakeet. Everyone was extremely kind and knowledgeable. It can be so hard finding an avian vet, let alone one who is as accommodating and nice as Dr. Dorn. We are very thankful that they were able to help us!
